We all go through moments of uncertainty. Self-doubt settles in and we begin to forget our worth, becoming entangled in a web of negative thoughts. It usually sounds a little something like this:
"I'm too skinny"
"I'm too fat"
"I'm not smart enough"
"I'm not pretty enough"
"I should have finished school"
"My life sucks" and on and on we go.
It's in those moments when I love to read Psalms 139:14 for reassurance.
God knew exactly who we would be before we were even formed, and he loved us so much that he created us in his very own image and since God does not make junk that should tell us something. So the next time you ever start to feel discouraged remind yourself that you come from "Greatness.".
In "The Confident Woman," written by Joyce Meyers, it says, "You are valuable, you have worth, you are gifted, you are talented, and you have a purpose on this earth." Try making this your daily declaration in combination with daily prayer.
Don't just say it.
