Isaiah 64:4 "Since ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides you, who acts on behalf of those who wait for him."
Why is it that we seem to be able to wait on everything else but God? For those of us who rely on public transportation, we wait on the bus and train; we wait for our friends when it's time to hang out; we've been on the same job for years waiting patiently for that promotion or raise; we've been in relationships for over four years and are still waiting on a marriage proposal; those of us who are parents or soon-to-be parents wait nine months to see that beautiful baby, but for some reason, it's just too hard to wait on God.
Please, understand that he is worth the wait. God loves you and wants to give you his absolute best! So while you are waiting, know that he is in the process of preparing you to receive all that he has in store for you.
Trusting him is key.
You can't expect God to give you a financial blessing when all you do is shop because you'll just squander it and expect more. Trusting him also means trusting in his timing. God is not a man; therefore, he cannot lie. His word cannot and will not return void.
So just know, your wait will not be in vain.
